Give Water Blog: Drink Give. Do Good.

Hey guys – I just got back from a very busy few days in New York City.  We were exhibiting at Fancy Food Show and the response was extremely positive.  Thousands of visitors were walking the show with bottles of GIVE because of our dedicated street team outside the Javits Center, which consisted of a few interns and volunteers!

The highlight of my trip was a meeting with the Greater NYC Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, where we discussed being the official water sponsor of Race for the Cure!  Since then, we’ve already received word that they’re on board and GIVE will be sponsoring the 2008 Race (coming up in September).  This is tremendous news, giving us the opportunity to provide 30,000 bottles of GIVE Hope to supporters as they race and raise money for breast cancer.  We’re thrilled to partner with Komen NYC and be part of such a worthy and high profile event!

Hey everyone.  Mark and I just got back from a trip to Boston where we took the time to meet with the staff of Horizons for Homeless Children, a Boston-based charity serving local homeless youth.  The stuff they’re doing is absolutely amazing and we were so impressed with their facilities and the kids themselves.  The staff was so cooperative and friendly; it was great taking the time to meet them and see operations on the ground.

After we left, we wrote a check to Horizons for $1,200—money we raised through the sale of GIVE Life in the Boston area in the short few weeks that it has been available.  It is because of the support of people like you that this took place.  It’s amazing to watch the movement grow and for us to see great organizations like Horizons benefit from the simple act of buying a bottle at your local supermarket or convenience store.  Most importantly we’re thrilled how many of you are supporting GIVE each day.  Thanks again… we can’t do it without you.
