Getting Ready for Summer

Friday, April 17th, 2009

We just met with some of the students who will be interning with us in our home office this summer. They’re all so passionate about GIVE and we’re looking forward to a really fun summer here in Pittsburgh! We have tons of great events going on throughout the summer and plan to take the city by storm.

Summer interns have one goal:  to take GIVE to the next level.

They’ll drive traffic to our great hometown retailers (Giant Eagle, Whole Foods, and hundreds of independents) through daily street samplings, store demos, and events to boost sales and raise more money for our local charity partners.

GIVE Featured on CNN!

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009

Hey GIVE Drinkers,

This is extremely exciting to share… Last week I got a call from a Senior Producer at CNN expressing an interest in GIVE.  The following morning, the producer along with anchor Jim Acosta and a camera crew were spending the day with me in Philadelphia.  We visited a nearby Whole Foods store and walked around the Penn campus, and ended up with some amazing footage.  They even sent a crew out to Anaheim, California to film our booth at the Natural Products Expo!

We’ve gotten an amazing response since the airing.  Special thanks to the team at CNN for giving us a ton of airtime, Whole Foods Callowhill for putting together a killer display for us, and Susan G. Komen in NYC for jumping in on such short notice.
